ITF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022
We had 6 members compete at the recent ITF World Championships in the Netherlands.

Catalunya Open- Barcelona May 2022

Catalunya Open 2022- Blackrock instructors Paul & Joshua competed in Barcelona last weekend along with Trevor Healy of Farranree Taekwon-Do . Joshua won gold in Tul, Trevor gold in sparring and Paul bronze in Tul & silver in Sparring. Thank you to Master Mariano Molina for the invite.

Total Taekwon-Do Championhsips - May 2022

We had a fantastic day yesterday at the Total Taekwon-Do Championships. For many in the club it was their first tournament, or their first in many years.

It was a very successful day for the Club at todays Rathpeacon Open Taekwon-Do Championships in Cork. For most of us it has been more than 2 years since our last competition but everyone managed to put in a very strong performance.

OUR NEW 2ND DEGREE BLACK BELTS

Peter Phillips and Sharon Buckley were presented with their 2nd Degree Black Belt certificates after class last night.

COLOR BELT GRADING - DECEMBER 2021

Congratulations to our 5 members who were tested today at the Colour Belt Grading in Midleton by Mr James Dwyer 6th Degree and Mr Alan Walsh 5th Degree. All passed with good performances.

BLACKBELT GRADING 2021

Massive congratulations to Peter Phillips and Sharon Buckley who were promoted to 2nd Degree Black belt by Master Ruairi O Brien this weekend.

MR TOMMY BURNS-V DEFGREE

Goodbye to our good friend Tommy Burns. The positive impact that he has had on our members both past in present cannot be properly put in words. We'll miss the long chats out in the cold after class, long after the lights in the hall have gone out. Rest in Peace Tommy.
